Dr North studied Medical Science and Medicine at The University of Sydney graduating with honours in 2005. She trained in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery with the College of Surgeons and was awarded a Project Grant for her Masters of Surgery Project in conjunction with The Ear Institute at University College London and The University of Sydney.
She loves teaching and has previously been a Conjoint Lecturer with UNSW, and currently teaches medical students with The University of Sydney at the Westmead Clinical School and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She completed a post training fellowship under the guidance of Shyan Vijayasekaran and the ENT Department at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Perth, and completed a second post training fellowship in the UK at The Manchester Skull Base Unit.
It was here that she honed her skills in complex revision ear surgery, hearing implants and lateral skull base surgery in one of the largest Otology and Skull Base Centres in the UK. She has also completed the Advanced Surgeons Course with the Institute of Cochlear Implant Training in Valencia. She sees patients in the rooms at Norwest Private Hospital in Bella Vista.
